Then later from 4.30pm on September 8th, we have one of the most exciting shows of the year. Featuring the future face of jazz, the local Taranaki students from NPBHS/NPGHS (photo above), Francis Douglas, Spotswood College and Hawera High Schools.
PLUS guest vocal trio "The Harmonettes" from Palmerston North Girls High School. That incredible NZ jazz singer Erna Ferry is their tutor so make sure you're in the audience for this showcase of their and our local young talent.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 6TH
Slight change to advertised programme. No longer Retro Pack, however, same quality performance by the band members who call themselves "JC & The Disciples of Swing." This is due to the female vocalist unexpectedly having to go overseas.
EVERY Thursday from 6.30 pm as always The Mike Gordon Jazz Trio plays at The Fitz (formerly The Fitzroy Tavern).
Join them for an evening of top music, a pub meal and great company. 6.30pm to 8.30pm for the band, but stay as late as you wish.
